Our Team

​​​​​Dr. Taylor McMullen was born and raised in Pennsylvania. He received his undergraduate training from Indiana University of Pennsylvania where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Sciences and Mathematics in 2003. While an undergraduate, he spent a semester studying abroad at the University of Valladolid in Valladolid, Spain. He continued his education and earned a Bachelor of Science in Vision Sciences and a Doctorate of Optometry in 2007 from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. In addition to all of your primary eye care needs, Dr. McMullen has extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease, as well as management of ocular complications of systemic disease. Dr. McMullen completed clinical externships at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, PA, Capital Eye Consultants in Fairfax, VA, and West Penn Allegheny Eye Associates at West Penn Allegheny Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. He is a member of the American Optometric Society as well as the Central Arizona Optometric Society.

Fun Fact: Dr. McMullen is a Garmin Badge Competitor.

​​​​​Dr. Henry Jensen was born in Racine, WI, and raised in Scottsdale, AZ. He received his undergraduate training from the University of Arizona, where he graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2018. While an undergraduate, he spent a semester studying abroad at the University of Adolfo Ibanez in Vina del Mar, Chile. He continued his education and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Houston College of Optometry. During his time in Houston, Dr. Jensen participated as a member of the Student Optometric Private Practice Association and the Beta Sigma Kappa Honors Society. Dr. Jensen completed clinical externships at Eye Care of Greenville, TX, and the Indian Health Service in Albuquerque, NM. He is a member of the American Optometric Association as well as the Arizona Optometric Association.

Fun Fact: Dr. Jensen studied abroad in Chile.

​​​​​Jupiter was born in April and officially joined the team last year, after completing rigorous training at doggy school. He is passionate about public relations and specializes in greeting every guest with a wagging tail. When he isn’t collaborating with his best friends Carl, JLo, and Shakira, he can be found performing routine maintenance on the office flower wall.

Fun fact: He is an expert at “recycling” and loves to check the trash for forgotten snacks.

Franchezka was born in Fort Riley, Kansas, and raised in Puerto Rico. She attended college at Inter Amerizana de Bayamon for Human Resources and Management. Fran has been in the optical field for 16 years and is currently ABO and NCLE certified.

Fun Fact: If she won the lottery, you would know because she would rescue all the E-list animals.

Leo was born and raised in Niagara Falls, New York. He attended Scottsdale Community College, and later received his ABO, NCLE, and LDO certification. He has worked in optics for over 30 years between Arizona and New England.

Fun Fact: He can clean a kitchen better than anybody.

Born and raised in La Verne, California, Travis is an Army veteran with eight years of service. Inspired by his family’s experiences with vision deficiencies, he pursued a career in optics to help others see and feel their best. Travis enjoys making the optical experience approachable and enjoyable.

Fun Fact: He likes comic books (especially The Flash)

Robyn grew up just outside of Boston, Massachusetts, and was inspired to pursue a career in optics after watching her sister thrive in the field for over a decade. She loves helping patients feel confident in their eyewear choices and brings a warm, welcoming, and positive energy to the office every day.

Fun fact: She loves to read and has a pet frog named Chubs.

Greer was born and raised in the heart of Phoenix, Arizona, and attended Phoenix College. With a lifelong passion for fashion and eyewear, she loves helping patients find frames that make them feel confident while achieving crystal-clear vision. Greer is dedicated to serving the local community and creating a personalized experience for every patient.

Fun fact: You can find her at every techno show in the valley.

Gabby was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. She received her esthetics license from the American Institute of Beauty and has over ten years of customer service experience. Passionate about creating a positive patient experience, Gabby is dedicated to making every visit to Salt River Eye Care feel welcoming, seamless, and personal.

Fun Fact: She is a Mixologist.

Born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona, Caitlin earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from ASU. She enjoys combining her attention to detail with patient care to help create a smooth and comfortable experience for every person who walks through the door.

Fun Fact: She is obsessed with metal art
 

​​​​​Aaron grew up in a small town in Minnesota. He developed a passion for music early in life, which inspired him to become the drummer he is today. He is a natural at his job and patients quickly notice his calm demeanor, attention to detail, and genuine care for helping others.

Fun Fact: He grew up on a farm that had 20+ barn cats.
