Our Team

​​​​​Dr. Taylor McMullen was born and raised in Pennsylvania. He received his undergraduate training from Indiana University of Pennsylvania where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Sciences and Mathematics in 2003. While an undergraduate, he spent a semester studying abroad at the University of Valladolid in Valladolid, Spain. He continued his education and earned a Bachelor of Science in Vision Sciences and a Doctorate of Optometry in 2007 from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. In addition to all of your primary eye care needs, Dr. McMullen has extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease, as well as management of ocular complications of systemic disease. Dr. McMullen completed clinical externships at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, PA, Capital Eye Consultants in Fairfax, VA, and West Penn Allegheny Eye Associates at West Penn Allegheny Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. He is a member of the American Optometric Society as well as the Central Arizona Optometric Society.

​​​​​Dr. Henry Jensen was born in Racine, WI, and raised in Scottsdale, AZ. He received his undergraduate training from the University of Arizona, where he graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2018. While an undergraduate, he spent a semester studying abroad at the University of Adolfo Ibanez in Vina del Mar, Chile. He continued his education and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Houston College of Optometry. During his time in Houston, Dr. Jensen participated as a member of the Student Optometric Private Practice Association and the Beta Sigma Kappa Honors Society. Dr. Jensen completed clinical externships at Eye Care of Greenville, TX, and the Indian Health Service in Albuquerque, NM. He is a member of the American Optometric Association as well as the Arizona Optometric Association.

​​​​​Dr. Elizabeth Madara was Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson University College of Allied Health Professionals and the Pennsylvania College of Optometry; where she earned a Doctor of Optometry Degree in 1988. During her fourth year of Optometry School, she did a clinical rotation in Arizona and decided to relocate in 2001. Dr. Madara is therapeutically trained and is certified in the treatment and management of Ocular Disease. Her practice focuses on comprehensive eye health examinations including the fit for contact lenses. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking in the beautiful scenery of Arizona.

​​​​​Andrea McMullen, an SRPMIC member, is the creator and driving force behind Salt River Eye Care. She envisioned a practice where patients can come and receive excellent care in a comfortable and friendly environment. Andrea has a Bachelors’s degree in Business Management and works as the Chief Executive Officer for Salt River Eye Care.
